This blog post is a little over due.
This past summer I had the opportunity of joining 49 other talented big hearted photographers from all over to participate in an awesome project called Beauty Revived.
Beauty Revived was started by an awesome photographer Michelle Gifford. She has such a big heart and this project of hers has taken off! Beauty Revived is basically a complimentary photo shoot that tells the story of a beautiful person not only on the outside but also on the inside.
In Michelle’s own words…
” It wasn’t just something that I thought would be nice and lovely, I felt compelled. I knew that this was a way that, with God’s help, I could help others see the good in the world.”
50 of us got together and went on the search for some AMAZING Senior girls that represent what true beauty is. The results were incredible. Truly humbling.
I knew right away who I wanted to showcase. Her name is Kayla. Kayla is incredible. Such a tender soul that has so much to give in this world. And yet has no idea how beautiful she really is. You can read her story Here and be inspired.
As I mentioned before this project was truly humbling. I was honored that I could give of myself in a way that pointed to someone else.
I was honored to tell her story and show the world how beautiful she really is.
Senior Style Guide ended up picking up Beauty Revived and did a special edition to showcase all 50 Beautiful Seniors. While reading these girls stories, tears were brought to my eyes. I couldn’t imagine some of the battles they have had to deal with at such a young age. How much courage, perseverance, and kindness these girls have.
It is truly inspiring.
I am excited to announce that we have joined on the next project Beauty Revived has! She is now doing 50 Mosts Inspiring Adoption Stories. I am so excited about this next project as I have a family that is near and dear to my heart that has a beautiful story on adoption. I am even thinking about making some kind of video to go along with it because their little girl has so much to say…but that is down the road!
